PIB Community, we are experiencing a very hot and dry summer this year. So, please follow the water restrictions guidelines below and try to conserve water as much as we can to keep the water reservoir at optimal levels. PIB Chief and Council want to remind community that the FIRE BAN and ATV/OFF Road Utility Vehicle Bans are still in effect. We must do all that we can to protect and take care of our community. Please be safe and consider and follow the BANS accordingly. Together we can protect our lands. Please read the notices Below
High water usage is causing turbidity and sediment disturbance in the water line, which is discolouring the water. RUN your cold water for 15-20 minutes or until it is clear. PIB’s water is good but if you fell unsure, please drink bottled water.
PIB Utilities can confirm that there are rigorous controls in place for Community Safety. The water is tested daily, weekly and monthly to check chlorine and bacteria levels to ensure PIB’s water is safe to consume
