The Penticton Indian Band Government structure (Chief and Council) is elected every 4 years under our own custom election system. Our Band Council is comprised of a Band Chief and 8 Council Members. Each Council Member, including the Chief (as elected), is appointed to a specific portfolio which will directly involve them with each program or service the Penticton Band Administration is responsible for delivering to the band community. Currently we have the following portfolios:
