PIB Policy & Planning – Supporting Chief & Council in Strong Governance

What We Do

The Penticton Indian Band (PIB) Policy & Planning Department plays a central role in supporting  Chief and Council as they guide the Nation’s governance, strategic direction, and long-term vision.

By providing research, policy expertise, planning tools, and coordinated information, we help leadership make informed decisions that reflect Syilx values, community priorities, and responsible stewardship for future generations.

Our goal is to strengthen governance so Chief and Council can lead with clarity, confidence, and community-backed direction
