The Penticton Indian Band Health Department offers a wide scope of Nursing services and resources for persons living on reserve.

Debbie Andreychuk is a Registered Nurse overseeing our Home&Community Care program along with CHN integration of services with IHA. Debbie is First Nation and a Health Team member for 9 years.

COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSE SERVICES

  • Monthly immunization clinics  for children
  • TB screening
  • Community Health emergency – supplies and plan review and inventory
  • Monthly Diabetes Health Clinics – A1C, BST, Nutrition counselling ,RN, LPN, RD supported
  • Monthly Diabetes foot care and Orthodics clinics
  • Annual Flu vaccine clinics

WELLNESS CENTER ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORD – MEDACCESS 

  • Wellness Center patient information data system – keeping
  • Electronic referrals out/in from/to other local health professionals
