US Information for Members Residing in the USA
US Residents: Over the years, PIB has endeavoured to provide payments to members who reside out of country, but continually experience issues with the US Banking System. US Members may elect to receive their distribution via Wire Transfer; however, PIB cannot guarantee success. Please be aware that failed wire transfers result in significant delays in processing time for a reissued payment via another method.
For Wire Transfer payments, PIB requires official International Wire Transfer details from the Members financial institution, complete with the SWIFT or ABA Routing Number, the Bank Name and complete address, and the Beneficiary Name and complete address. IMPORTANT: Please let your financial institution know that the Wire Transfer is coming from CANADA. Take this form to your financial institution.
Alternatively, US Members may elect to have their distribution paid to a designated person or family member who can then remit payment to them via alternative means (i.e. Western Union, PayPal, etc.) – this method has proven to be more reliable for many members. Associated fees are not the responsibility of the Band.
If you submitted your application by the deadline dates above and have not received your distribution payment, please follow up with the PIB Finance Department. US Wire Transfers may require additional processing time.
