  2. Internal Due Diligence
    Review and analysis by PIB staff.
  3. Economic Advisory Committee (EAC) Review
    Assessment by PIB’s advisory body.
  4. Shareholder Presentation
    Presentation to PIB shareholders.
  5. Community Approval
    Final review and endorsement by the community.
  6. Finalization
    Execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or Letter of Intent (LOI), as applicable.

Estimated Timelines

  • Standard Review: Typically takes 3 to 6 months, depending on the comprehensiveness of the submission.
  • PIB Land-Based Proposals: If the opportunity involves band-held lands, a community referendum may be required, extending the timeline to approximately 8-12 months.
