The Penticton Indian Band Health Department offers a wide scope of Health services to community members living on reserve. Integration of Health services and other Band Departments is essential in providing continuum of care and quality of service to each member. Health services are provided in Prevention models and Intervention services.


The mission of the Penticton Indian Band Health Department is to offer and promote health services to enable the community members to achieve health and wellness.


  • That every community member has the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual strength to support the health and wellness of the individual, family and community; and
  • That every family unit within the community is empowered with the knowledge and resources to make healthy choices in their journey through the continuum of health and wellness; and
  • That our community is rich in its capacity to support; spiritual, cultural, educational, employment, and recreational opportunities that promote active, healthy lifestyles.

Lynn Kruger is a PIB Community member for over 30 years, a Health Team member for 12 years, and Health Programs Manager for 8 years.

Mike Pierre is a trained Patient Travel clerk and receptionist. He is a Penticton Indian Band member and has been a Health team member for more than 7 years.

Debbie Andreychuk is a Registered Nurse overseeing our Home & Community Care program along with CHN integration of services with IHA. Debbie is First Nation and a Health Team member for 9 years.

Denelle Bonneau is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and certified Aboriginal Doula, she is a PIB band member and Health Team member for 11 years.

Evening Star Casimir is a Certified Community Diabetes worker providing education and nutritional food security programs. She is responsible for the integration of these services with all Health Department programs. Evening Star is a Kamloops Indian Band member and Penticton Indian Band community member and a Health Team member for 9 years.

Elaine Kruger is a registered NNADAP worker and brings a wealth of knowledge , true depth of caring to this program. She incorporates tradition and cultural whenever possible.  Elaine is a Pentiction Indian Band member living on reserve and a Health Team member for 5 years.
